Absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish! Visited with a group of gals on Valentine’s Saturday and shared an AMAZING steak platter cooked to perfection!! Staff were hitting our table consistently for drinks and service and in spite of being very busy, we were really well looked after. Still dreaming about that steak today and can’t wait to visit again!
It was a Sunday evening and the first restaurant we tried required bookings. The bartender recommended Badenoch’s. It is much larger than it appears on the outside and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Our waitress checked with the kitchen about food issues (3 of us do not eat pork). The drinks were tasty as my wife and daughters enjoyed the specialty drinks. We had a variety of plates-the Satay was juicy and tender, the fish and chips were flavourful, the sweet potato fries were really tasty. The only so-so dish was the onion rings, but the Venison burger was served hot and required no condiments. We would definitely come back while in Elgin!

The service was impeccable. There was a particular waiter who was attentive, commonly checked in to see if we were enjoying our food or needed anything. They were always smiling and kind when speaking with us. I am unsure what the waiter’s name was, but it was a man with dark hair and arm tattoos. He should especially receive praise. The food was fabulous and the cocktails were amazing. The staff were accommodating at doing cocktails that weren’t on the menu too, so that was great. Will definitely come back to Elgin purely just to come here again!!!!
We were here for work Christmas Night Out. There was a wide range of food ordered and everyone commented on how amazing it all was. There was a great atmosphere and even though they were clearly very busy the staff were checking in on the table to ensure that everything was ok. Highly recommend.
I had the pleasure of eating my dinner here tonight. Excellent food, excellent service. The BFC was sublime and the Mac & Cheese was simply incredible. Must try if you’re in the area!
We had a beautiful lunch sitting outside today. The fish was so fresh, just delicious and the mac cheese beautiful. Highly recommend. Many thanks to Lu who served us and compliments to the chef.
First time visiting around 3pm on a Saturday afternoon for a bite to eat. Had 3 small plates (nachos, scampi & steak loaded fries) and all were delicious. Service was quick and fairly friendly. Atmosphere was what you’d expect on a Saturday afternoon, decor decent - love the plants and trees. Love that they are dog friendly - huge bonus! Would definitely recommend and we will definitely be back.
